Photographs made in Nepal, 2015. I traveled to several locations within Nepal and experienced the poverty of Kathmandu and Lumbini (the birthplace of Buddha); the ancient hand-carved Hindu temples left in the wake of devastating earthquakes; the quaint small-town charm of the Pokhara valley; the devout Buddhist monks secluded in the isolated villages located within the Himalayan mountains; and the majestic Himalayas themselves. I also had the rare opportunity to participate in traditions and festivals with my extended family who live there.
